Description
We are currently recruiting for a boutique Financial Planning practice in Hitchin who are looking to recruit a Client Relationship Manager to join their team. They are looking for someone who is particularly strong at speaking to clients on the phone and communicating with them in other formats such as email, letter, text etc, with the main function of engaging more with existing clients.
General duties:
- Answering incoming phone calls – Priority
- Managing & Developing client relationships/ keeping clients happy – via calls, emails and texts.
- Keeping MI on client engagement & communication.
- Proactively engaging with clients using Thermometer test – detailing when last called, when last emailed, what we can do for them etc. (We don’t want relationships to become cold and clients not to think we can. We want to be proactive!)
- Client surveys: Send out feedback surveys/ Policy questionnaires. Asking what we do well and how we can improve.
- Google reviews/ Trust Pilot reviews – building the Brand.
- Personal client emails ref action points, i.e. end of tax year planning, filling allowances, how legislation may affect them (e.g. Budget email), Christmas emails, following up action points and assisting with tax return data – all the personal touch (compared to the company send mass HTML emails via Mail Chimp which can get ignored). This is mostly for the top 50 clients.
- Arranging client appointments
- Liaise with Client Services Manager and Paraplanner ref client appointments, annual reviews.
- Liaison with life companies, and investment firms making sure Contacts list and login details are always right and up to date.
- Producing investment and protection quotes and comparison charts.
- Submitting New business to Transact, Fidelity & Life Insurance Policies
- Learning and being proficient in Intelliflo, Transact, Fidelity plus protection companies.
- Updating NBR (New Business Register)
- Chasing leads and chasing through pipeline business and updating PAUL on progress.
- Assisting with annual reports to clients
- Assisting with annual re-balance
- Updating contacts list with latest details – checking always correct.
