We are currently recruiting for a highly regarded Financial Planning practice based in the Mayfair area who are looking for a Financial Planning Administrator to join their team.
The company is an independent firm providing private clients and institutions with a highly personalised financial planning and investment management service. All forms of financial advice are offered, including pension funding, asset and estate protection, tax efficient financial planning as well as an investment service that offers dedicated discretionary fund management. The planning proposition as a whole assists clients achieve their financial and lifestyle objectives. All services are provided by highly qualified professionals with experience of servicing clients for many years, through different economic cycles. They believe in building long-term relationships with their clients based on trust and high levels of service.
This role supports clients and the Financial Planners within the business. This is an office based role.
Purpose
To support clients and the financial planning team in their day to day requirements and activities to ensure competency, compliance and efficiency within the business.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality administration and analytical support to planners and clients
- Manage own workloads
- Process all private client related new business and servicing queries using the businesses processes and with defined internal and external service level agreements
- Contribute to information required for the reporting of management information and key performance indicators
- Use company systems in line with internal procedures and ensure all processes are being completed in line with company manuals and process documentation
- Participate in meetings, conferences and seminars applicable to role and following appropriate authorisation
- Build relationships with external product providers and suppliers and act as a main point of contact for clients
- Check all new business paperwork prior to submission to ensure it is compliant
- Manage planner diaries and book client new business and review meetings in line with company procedure
- Data collection of client portfolios for new business and review meetings
- Prepare all documentation and meeting packs for planners in timely fashion
- Ensure all meeting follow-up work is completed within company timescales
- Manage and action incoming and outgoing client queries both via post and digital methods
- Managing cash balances and cash movements

Experience /Qualifications
- Proven experience in a financial service administrative role
- Experience of client relationship management software within financial services i.e. Iress X Plan or similar
