We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice in Ascot who are looking for a Financial Services Administrator to join their team.
They are looking for an experienced, organised and proactive IFA administrator to join their Financial Planning team.
The IFA administrator will be required to provide full pre and post sales support to the paraplanning team and the partners/Adviser, including processing documentation compliantly, preparing appointments and dealing with client queries. You will also ensure that clientdocumentation / requests are accurately processed and completed within the required time scales and in accordance with the compliance guidelines as defined by the Company.
This vacancy offers a great opportunity to work within an established financial services team with a private and corporate client base with the main focus of the role to provide full administration support within a growing department with the genuine desire to contribute to the future development of the business.
Duties and responsibilities
- To obtain illustrations, key features and application forms from Platforms and Providers as required.
- Preparation of client annual reviews which include obtaining accurate valuations.
- To issue signed letters of authority to providers and obtain policy information. Update client records on receipt of information on Intelligent Office.
- To prepare and process new business applications in accordance with the Company’s standard operating procedures.
- Deal with and respond to written, telephone and electronic enquires.
- Maintain relationships with providers to ensure a professional service.
- Understanding of the fee reconciliation and assisting where required.
- To operate and manage an effective diary with Intelligent Office to ensure that all activities are carried out in a timely manner.
- Renewing and administering Group Employee Benefit schemes.
- Updating client details on Intelligent Office from the client Fact Find.
- Make client appointments on behalf of the partners / advisers.
- Setting up new clients on Intelligent Office, ensuring client data is accurate and maintained.
Skills and qualifications
- FS experience is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work both, as part of a team and independently.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Client-centric approach.
- Organised with good attention to detail and accurate data entry and record keeping skills.
- Good levels of industry knowledge.
- Willingness to study towards professional qualifications (desirable but not essential.)
