    Description

    We are currently recruiting for a boutique Financial Planning practice in London who are looking to recruit an IFA Administrator.

    They are looking for an administrator to join their technical team and work alongside our Senior Administrator. The role will include submitting business to various investment providers and processing cases to completion. You will also handle client withdrawals, phased investing and client data maintenance on investment platforms. You will work closely with our Head of Operations, paraplanners and advisers so good communication skills are important.

    A boutique Independent Financial Adviser firm that is dedicated to supporting the needs of our clients. They work collaboratively as a team to implement recommendations that align with our client’s objectives.

    Typically, their client’s portfolio size ranges from between £200,000 and £20 million. In this role, you will have exposure to a varied level or work that will be challenging but exciting.

    What they are looking for

    You will have the chance to enhance your technical knowledge and skills. You will join a young and dynamic team whereby your focus will be aiding the Senior Administrator with the following duties:
    - Submission of business to providers and the CRM system;
    - Processing submitted business to completion;
    - Submitting and processing client withdrawals;
    - Handling trades, rebalances and phased investing cases;
    - Client information maintenance on the investment platforms we use as well as the CRM system;
    - Assisting with preparation of paperwork for client meetings;
    - Closing cases (including CRM updating and final checks)

    Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of experience in administration at a financial advisory or investment provider firm, good IT skills including Microsoft Office applications and experience with investment platforms and CRM systems. Experience with Intelligent Office, Standard Life, Novia and Transact would be advantageous.
