We are currently recruiting for a National Financial Planning company who are looking to recruit an Investment Administrator in their London office.
They are an award-winning team of Independent Financial Advisers who provide a personal, independent and bespoke wealth management service to high net worth clients.
The Role
This exciting opportunity is part of their expansion of the investment team, they are looking for a proven administrator who wants to join a team who will encourage personal development towards investment qualifications and who is looking to establish themselves on the investment career path. The role is to support the investment analysts and investment committee with all the administration requirements to enable a first class service to their clients.
Key Responsibilities
- To support the Analysts in conducting investment research
- Taking ownership of the monthly investment update that is sent to the wider business ensuring that all communication is accurate and sent in a timely manner
- Responsible for updating portfolio factsheets on a monthly basis
- Ensuring that all platforms (and internal systems) are updated following portfolio rebalances;
- This will also include liaising with stakeholders in the business during the portfolio rebalance process to ensure they have all the required information
- Being a point of contact for adviser’s investment queries
- Keeping internal systems updated to reflect any changes in our buy list, on-panel products etc
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a related role
- Proficient in using FE Analytics
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (this includes being comfortable with using macros and manipulating large data sets
- Self-motivated and able to independently manage their workload
- Demonstrable experience in the rebalancing of portfolios/funds
- Experience using multiple investment platforms
- Proactive in highlighting areas which could be improved
- Any progress towards industry recognised qualifications would be favourable
