£45,000 – £55,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join a growing, regulated financial services business in London. This is a pivotal role, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring the business remains compliant, profitable, and scalable.

The Opportunity

As Operations Manager, you will act as the bridge between strategic leadership and daily execution. You’ll take ownership of business operations across finance, compliance, HR, and administration, playing a key role in shaping processes and supporting continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

  • Oversee income reconciliation within CRM systems
  • Support production of management and company accounts
  • Manage payroll and company bank reconciliations
  • Handle P11D compliance and introducer payments
  • Oversee third-party tech stack

Regulation & Compliance

  • Ensure regulatory compliance, including submissions and reporting
  • Liaise with relevant regulatory bodies and compliance consultants
  • Maintain CPD and professional standards
  • Chair internal committees and adviser meetings
  • Oversee monitoring, file reviews, and management information

HR & People Management

  • Lead recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Manage employment contracts and staff handbook
  • Conduct annual reviews and oversee staff incentives

Operations & Administration

  • Oversee IT systems, security, and infrastructure
  • Coordinate board meetings and business planning
  • Support marketing initiatives and third-party relationships
  • Manage office operations and supplier partnerships

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in operations or senior administration within a regulated environment
  • Proven ability to manage teams and improve processes
  • Degree educated (or equivalent)
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. Level 4 Diploma, Prince2, or accounting) advantageous
  • Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and back-office systems

You’ll be highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a structured approach to your work and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
