We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice in Guildford who are looking to recruit a Paraplanner or a Trainee Paraplanner.

The right candidate will need to possess the following qualifications:

• Level 4 CII Diploma or have the Certificate of Paraplanning from the CII or CISI. However, ambitious part-qualified candidates will also be considered.
• Willingness to progress and pass new exams such as J09 (Paraplanning), J10 (Discretionary Investment Management), J02 Trusts, AF03 (Advanced pension planning)

Experience to include:

• Previous experience as a paraplanner, report writing
• The ability to understand simple and some complex financial products
• Understand how to make recommendations for financial objectives
• Ability to define risk tolerance, risk capacity (capacity for loss), risk perception etc.
• Previous experience with the Intelliflo Office system is a definite advantage.

The ideal candidate will be hard working, polite, a good communicator, able to work under pressure on multiple tasks, willing to learn from colleagues and be a great team player. A driving licence and means of transport is essential due to the location of the office as this is a full-time office based role.
