The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will work closely with Financial Advisers, supporting the end-to-end financial planning process. This is a varied and analytical role with real scope for progression.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed financial analysis to support client recommendations
- Gathering and organising client data (income, assets, liabilities, etc.)
- Producing suitability reports and investment proposals
- Modelling financial planning scenarios using industry software
- Researching financial products and investment solutions
- Ensuring all work is compliant with FCA regulations
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
- Supporting advisers in developing tailored financial strategies
About You
You’ll be a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced financial planning environment.
Requirements:
- Level 4 Diploma (CII) achieved or in progress
- Experience in a paraplanning or similar financial services role
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, tax, and protection
- Ability to perform basic tax calculations
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience with back-office systems such as Intelliflo or Genovo
- Ambition to progress towards Chartered status (fully supported)
