Senior Group Risk Administrator
Location: London - Hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Salary: £40,000-£45,000
Are you an experienced Group Risk professional looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Group Risk Administrator to join our team on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients and advisers while supporting the smooth running of our Group Risk function.
About the Role
As a Senior Group Risk Administrator, you will be responsible for the efficient management and administration of group risk schemes, including Group Life, Income Protection, and Critical Illness. You’ll act as a central point of contact for advisers, clients, and insurers ensuring processes are handled accurately, promptly, and in line with regulatory requirements.
You will work as part of a collaborative team, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and helping us maintain the highest standards of compliance and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for advisers and clients regarding group risk schemes.
- Handle enquiries efficiently, delivering outstanding customer service.
- Process new business, renewals, and policy amendments across Group Life, IP, and Critical Illness.
- Liaise with insurers to obtain quotes, underwriting decisions, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records in accordance with FCA standards.
- Support audits, compliance checks, and internal quality assurance.
- Prepare reports on scheme performance, renewals, and pipeline activity.
- Update CRM systems and ensure data integrity is maintained.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational best practice.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is confident, reliable, and capable of managing a busy and varied workload.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in financial services administration, ideally within Group Risk or Employee Benefits.
- Strong understanding of group risk products and the wider market.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Sound knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance standards.
Desirable
- Working towards or holding a Level 4 industry qualification.
- Experience in an IFA or advisory environment with strong regulatory awareness.
