Financial Planner – Essex (Hybrid)
Location: Leigh-on-Sea, Essex
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: Up to £70,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits Package
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and client-focused Financial Planner to join a growing and highly regarded wealth management firm based in Essex.
This position is ideally suited to a Chartered Financial Planner, or someone close to achieving Chartered status, who is passionate about delivering high-quality, goals-based financial planning and building lasting client relationships.
The Role
You will provide holistic financial planning advice to a range of private clients, helping them achieve their financial objectives through tailored planning strategies. Alongside managing existing relationships, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow your client portfolio through referrals and professional connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning advice covering retirement, investments, protection, estate planning and wealth preservation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, business owners and trustees.
- Develop and grow a client bank through referrals, networking and relationship management.
- Provide ongoing reviews and proactive client servicing in line with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain CPD, SPS requirements and professional development standards.
- Keep abreast of financial market developments, legislation and product changes.
- Support wider business initiatives and projects when required.
About You
- Currently working as a Financial Planner / Financial Adviser.
- Chartered status preferred, or working towards completion.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience delivering regulated financial advice.
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, ISAs, bonds and protection products.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Client-focused with a commercial mindset.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Committed to delivering excellent client outcomes and maintaining regulatory standards.
