Description

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice based in North Leigh, Oxfordshire who are looking to recruit an IFA Administrator.

The Role

Ideally they are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, however we would be open to discussions if you have some relevant experience, along with a desire to build upon your knowledge and expertise within a technical support role.

Responsibilities
 Supporting the Paraplanner(s) in research and analysis to meet Client needs and objectives
 Supporting the Paraplanner(s) in the implementation of new business
 Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
 Contributing to the smooth running of the technical administrative function within the business
 Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities
 Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs
 Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally

Ideally you will have:

 Strong data management skills, with the ability to interpret, analyse and explain information clearly;
 An excellent standard of written and verbal communication, delivered professionally, with attention to detail;
 The ability to ensure that data is recorded within internal systems, to maintain accuracy and compliance;
 Good computer knowledge and skills; fully comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel.
 A good knowledge of investment, pension and insurance products – this would include the various WRAP/Platform providers in the industry;
 Good working knowledge of Intelligent Office would be beneficial;
 Analytical thinking, with the ability to understand a situation and derive an intelligent and thoughtful response;
 The ability to empathise and build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, strategic partners and third party providers;
 Strong communication skills to deliver excellent customer service to clients and third parties by telephone and email; an ability to convey technical details to a non-technical audience;
 The ability to work using your own initiative, with a ‘can do’ attitude;
 The ability to manage your own time and workload to ensure that all contractual obligations are met;

Salary
