We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice based in North Leigh, Oxfordshire who are looking to recruit an IFA Administrator.
The Role
Ideally they are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, however we would be open to discussions if you have some relevant experience, along with a desire to build upon your knowledge and expertise within a technical support role.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Paraplanner(s) in research and analysis to meet Client needs and objectives
Supporting the Paraplanner(s) in the implementation of new business
Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
Contributing to the smooth running of the technical administrative function within the business
Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities
Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs
Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally
Ideally you will have:
Strong data management skills, with the ability to interpret, analyse and explain information clearly;
An excellent standard of written and verbal communication, delivered professionally, with attention to detail;
The ability to ensure that data is recorded within internal systems, to maintain accuracy and compliance;
Good computer knowledge and skills; fully comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel.
A good knowledge of investment, pension and insurance products – this would include the various WRAP/Platform providers in the industry;
Good working knowledge of Intelligent Office would be beneficial;
Analytical thinking, with the ability to understand a situation and derive an intelligent and thoughtful response;
The ability to empathise and build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, strategic partners and third party providers;
Strong communication skills to deliver excellent customer service to clients and third parties by telephone and email; an ability to convey technical details to a non-technical audience;
The ability to work using your own initiative, with a ‘can do’ attitude;
The ability to manage your own time and workload to ensure that all contractual obligations are met;
Salary
