About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an organised and detail-oriented IFA Administrator to join a well-established and growing financial planning practice based in Ipswich.
This role is ideal for an experienced administrator looking to build a long-term career within financial services. You will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers, ensuring clients receive a professional and efficient service while maintaining high standards of administration and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisers.
- Prepare and process client documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update client records and databases.
- Schedule client meetings and manage adviser diaries.
- Liaise with clients, providers, and third parties regarding queries and documentation.
- Assist with new business processing and ongoing client servicing.
- Ensure all administration is completed in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the advisory process.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within financial services, wealth management, pensions, investments, or a professional services environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and other office-based systems.
- A proactive and professional approach to work.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience within an Independent Financial Advice (IFA) environment would be advantageous but is not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
