We are currently working with a well-established and highly regarded Independent Financial Planning firm in Maidstone who are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and detail-oriented administrator with strong IFA experience who is looking to join a busy, client-focused environment offering stability and long-term career prospects.

The Role

You will provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisers, ensuring the efficient processing of new and existing business while delivering a high standard of client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Online processing of new business applications for retail clients across Pensions, Investments and Protection in a timely and compliant manner

  • Liaising with a wide range of product providers and platforms

  • Ongoing servicing and maintenance of existing client portfolios

  • Producing illustrations and comparison quotations, including collating supporting literature and pre-populating applications

  • Processing Letters of Authority

  • Updating client portfolios for annual reviews and preparing review packs and reports

  • Managing adviser diaries, including scheduling and rescheduling appointments

  • Handling ad hoc administrative tasks to support the wider team

  • Occasionally meeting and greeting clients and visitors to the office

About You

  • Recent experience working as an IFA / Financial Planning Administrator is essential

  • Professional, articulate and well-presented

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload

  • Excellent attention to detail with strong numeracy and accuracy skills

  • Confident communicator with good written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Competent in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and Excel
